Trout Creek
Trout Creek, an estuary of the Truckee River and part of the greater Lake Tahoe watershed, required restoration due to nearby development in growing downtown Truckee. Braid.Work, Ecological Concerns, Inc. and Waterways, Inc. worked together to reinforce streambanks, re-engineer the water channel, restore native riparian habitats, and create site-specific planting, hydroseeding, and temporary irrigation strategies.
